Today's accessories offer a variety of options designed to meet the current blend of hard floor surfaces, carpeting, and "above the floor" requirements of the contemporary home. If your home has wall to wall carpet laid over carpet padding, we would recommend you select a package with an electric brush as your primary cleaning tool set. The electric brush has an especially designed agitator which will open the carpet surface for deep down cleaning, therefore protecting your investment in carpet from excessive wear.

If your home has primarily hard floor surfaces like wood or tile with areas covered by carpets laid directly over these surfaces, we recommend a turbine tool or straight air hard floor carpet tools. Many area rugs have a short carpet pile and fringe which can be cleaned effectively with light air turbines or even a combination tool. Since the carpet is laid directly over the hard floor more aggressive agitation isn't necessary.

If your home has a mixed environment of hard floors and carpet, we recommend a kit like the Estate Pack. It's a package designed for homes that have variety of floor surfaces such as hardwood or tile in the primary living spaces and wall to wall carpet in other areas like bedrooms.
