Our health is a priceless commodity that depends, in large measure, on the health of the buildings in which we live, sleep, and work. Our environment and the impact it has on our health is a subject well documented and while health problems cannot always be traced back to a “sick” building, the presence of bacteria and dust on our furniture, on our floors, and in our air is certainly instrumental.
Unlike a traditional vacuum cleaner, a central vacuum system vents exhaust air outside, allowing for the total elimination of dirty air in the living area—no micro dust, allergens, mites, or other aromatic particles.
A study conducted by the University of Califonia-Davis School of Medicine concludes that the use of a central vacuum system can dramatically reduce allergy and asthma symptoms.
