The 61688 is a two piece 1.5" X 54" commercial s-wand produced in steel with a proprietary scratch proof coating that eliminates the rust of rusting and damage to cosmetic appearance.
The wand is designed in two sections using a button lock mechanism to ensure against un-intended separation during use. Using proprietary materials the lower wand features a unique inward roll which eliminates sharp edges in ensures a stable no wobble connection. This design allows the wand to function much like a single piece wand in use with the benefit of being able to separate the wand for storage and transport.
Weighing in at 1.6 pounds the 61688 is less than 4 ounces more in weight that traditional aluminum wands ensuring the user finds it comfortable during use even when use is extended.
The 61688 features and ABS compression collar which is compatible with popular industry standard 1 1/2" and 1 9/16" commercial nozzles designed for use with s-wands.
The ABS compression collar will not degrade when exposed to chemicals like floor strippers and similar surface refinishing products.
The 61688 is produced avoiding chroming processes making it environmental friendly with less use of carbon based energy that traditional aluminum wands.
